Human Rights Education

DRDO strongly believes that we cannot enjoy development without security, we cannot enjoy security without development, and we will not enjoy either without respecting human rights. In this regard, our main objectives are to educate local communities of basic human rights, international humanitarian law, and international human rights law, the Geneva Conventions and additional protocols, legal aid and rule of law

Through human rights education DRDO helps:

  • To teach human rights education
  • To raise awareness and monitor human rights violations
  • To withdraw child soldiers and put them back to schools and reformatory
To create human rights movements capable of defending and seeking peaceful co-existence among different communities
